How to Pay for Solar
What payment option works best for you?
Innovation is found in both the solar power system and the financing options we design for you. After our first consultation, your solar power system is custom-designed to meet your needs. We also recognize that your budget and payment comfort level are an important aspect of the design, so our consultation will include a presentation of financing options. We want you to be able to add clean renewable energy at a cost you want to pay and nothing else.
All Plans Include:
Guaranteed Price
No surprises, when we quote you a price, that is the price. The price is only affected if you change something.
Sell or work on your roof or property
We provide options to transfer, buy out or move/remove the solar power system. If the system needs to be temporarily moved to allow work on your roof or property, we set a process and fixed amount to get this done.
Guaranteed Power Production
Each of our agreements provide guaranteed power production every year, including a refund if levels are not met.
Monitoring
What's the point of having state-of-the-art technology without being able to see the performance online and on your hand-held device? We also monitor your system to troubleshoot any problems.
Protection and Warranty
Whether you purchase, lease or use a PPA, we will warranty the equipment, and protect your system from loss or damage.
We pay all initial costs
Sunzera does not require payment until after your solar power system is up and running. We take the risk and get the design, permitting and installation done first.
Purchase: Control your investment
Paying up front is a great way to get the quickest return on your investment. With no monthly payments for solar, the solar power you receive each month will be at no cost so you will see an immediate reduction in your electric bills. Additionally, by working with Sunzera, you will not be left on your own. We have protection plans to guarantee your electrical production, and to warranty the equipment.
Sunzera takes all the upfront risk and pays for the design, permitting, and solar installation in Rochester, NY and its surrounding areas; you don't pay until the system starts producing power.
You can manage the investment, and take all the tax credits and refunds yourself or apply to the purchase price period.
We offer protection plans to guarantee your power production and provide warranties for the equipment.
Prepaid Solar Lease: a good idea
Get the best of both worlds - the protection of a lease, and the payback benefits of a purchase. You sign a lease and pay everything upfront and get a significant discount.

Solar Lease: Protect Against the Unknown
A solar lease is a good plan for many people, even though it is more unknown in portions of New York State where utility rates are more moderate. The popularity of leases is that you pay a predictable amount each month and have a guaranteed amount of power. Meanwhile, we take on the variables, including maintenance and repairs, and refund you if the power produced does not meet our guarantee.
We take on the maintenance, insurance and warranty for the entire system.
We work with you to apply all tax credits and refunds.

You will have the opportunity to own the system – may be at less than what you can purchase the system outright for.
You must qualify with a good credit score.
We can provide capital leases for businesses to allow you to claim all tax credits.
Solar Loan: Purchase with a Pay-As-You-Go Plan
Purchase your solar power system and pay for it with a loan. Sunzera can work with you to show you options, including using the equity in your home to pay for your solar power system. Additionally, by working with Sunzera, you will not be left on your own; we have protection plans to guarantee your electrical production and to warranty the equipment.

Power Purchase Agreement – Pay for Power at Predictable Rates
With a solar PPA, you pay for the power your system produces just like your current utility bill, but at rates that are locked in for 20 years or more. You avoid the volatility of the public utility market. Sunzera owns the system, so we take on the maintenance, repairs and insurance for the length of the agreement.
You pay only for the power the solar power system produces.
All PPA options include the ability to own the system; some at less than what you can purchase the system outright for.
We take on the maintenance, insurance and warranty for the entire system.
We work with you to apply for all tax credits and refunds.
You must qualify with a good credit score.
